Decent Respect

I believe what that means is I should go ahead and tell the “Climate Crew” why I and many others are mad at them, even though I am sure they know already.  This way they can’t use ignorance as an excuse. Watching the fallen Green Gurus whine about not understanding why we don’t love them anymore has gotten old.   So, I have written a list for them. I guess they need it because for smart people they are awfully slow.  I’m even going to use small words because unlike the majority of climate scientists, I want to be understood.

1. Climate projections missed by lots and lots.  What that means to me is that Doomsday Prophets can’t prove they know what the hell they are talking about.  Turns out The Science is “Missing in Action.” (I considered invoking Chuck Norris for just that reason.)

2. We were lied to: Hide the Decline + Fudge Factor + “The Science is Settled.”  These are much more than a mere mistakes.  They were deliberate deceit.  Those who were supposed to study this lied or knowingly allowed others to do so without objection.  The benefit of the doubt, and all trust, is completely gone.  This means if they tell us the sun rises in the east we’re going to check it-just because it came from them.  This is not a compliment.


3. We have spent one hell of a lot of money on research grants and new technology.  Most of this was wasted money. Nothing they have tried with our money has been proven cost effective.   Many are downright destructive.  Maybe they should try selling all the animals they kill.


4. Most of the stimulus monies seem to go to Obama’s cronies only to produce useless technology and bankruptcy. Find me a Conservative who got money from this.  Seriously, I want to know so I can properly thank them for their efforts.

5. The majority of Climate Change’s loudest proponents are heavily financially invested in it.  “Green businesses” ala  Al Gore are how many people “earn” their paychecks whether they own the companies or mop the floors.  If there is no Climate Change, their jobs cease to exist. That means people who are in the Climate Change industry will continue to find it, even if it is not there.  This is at the very least a conflict of interest and we now look for that. Climate industry people have way too much to lose to be unbiased. We shouldn’t pretend they are fair. Like most people they are well aware of how they make their living.

My thinking?  I believe that a super volcano erupting is much more likely to happen well before any amount of green power can have an effect. Yellowstone is very very overdue.  We know that it WILL happen.  We know that when it does, it WILL trigger an Ice age. That will definitely change the hell out of the climate.  With that in mind…

Love her or hate her, Ann Coulter has a fantastic talent for making liberal heads explode.  Frankly I’m jealous. 

She is however absolutely correct.  Impeaching the first black president (not named Clinton) would start nationwide riots at best and a full blown Civil/Race War at the extreme end.  Don’t get all shocked – It’s more or less the exact same thing that will happen if Obama decides he deserves a third term.  A different excuse for the same war, if you will.

I catch occasional grief, because for all that I LOATHE the President, I don’t want to impeach him. I don’t want to do anything that would turn him into a martyr.  Impeachment would do that.  If he’s just a man with a track record of failure, he can actually be used as an example of what happens when skin color is used to trump any and all argument - even from his own party. Whether the Democrats planned on this, or were just shocked by the anti-leadership on display, Barack Obama has now become the Democrat’s very own FRANKENBARRY! They can’t stop him from destroying whatever he decides to play with next. You know, like health care, the space program, international relations, immigration, Fast and Furious, airline security, the veterans benefits, “closing “ national monuments that were open to the public…but I digress.

I suppose it’s a kind of left-handed justice that the liberals have painted themselves into a corner.  Obviously if no one can criticize Obama without being a racist (or at least an Uncle Tom type sellout) THEY CAN’T DO IT EITHER.  They must have been stunned to discover that the rules they would force others to live by, stink when applied to themselves.  They aren’t supposed to be subject to their own laws!  Those are for those EVIL Republicans!  It must KILL THEM that they can’t control their own monster.  (I know I’ve got some sympathy around here somewhere…) 

I suppose there is one bit of good Obama did  by accident however.  He has effectively destroyed the effectiveness of the race card, at least for a while.  Still I am surprised that they didn’t see it coming.  Martin Luther King did not say “…judged by the melanin content of their character” did he?

This rant is about the LIE not the LAW.  We can discuss border security and amnesty sometime AFTER the elections.  Too many other things are more important right now.

There was a time when this sort of thing would make me giggle until my ribs ached.  Now it’s not even entertaining.  The PC police continue their quest to outlaw all things unpleasant at the expense of truth and reason.  Apparently, even in the Supreme Court.  In the end, I suppose the Supreme Court Justices are still just lawyers, complete with a lawyer’s tendency to think a clever argument is a good one.

First of all, do you remember that pesky First Amendment thing?  The one Sotomayor was talking about when she swore to “…  faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States under the Constitution and laws of the United States.” when she took her oath of office?  Yeah, that one. It says I can speak as I please regardless of who is insulted by my speech.  That is still the law.   But Politically Correct has nothing to do with the law and it never did.  PC is supposedly about MANNERS.

The thing is, ignorance, especially willful ignorance or denial of unpleasant truth can, will, and has gotten many many people, (including me) hurt and (almost) killed.  It has killed others. It will do so again, We are not however, required to facilitate the process.

I don’t talk about it much, but I happen to be an alcoholic. I have two years and change sober now.  I will spare you details, but like most drunks, I almost died of alcohol poisoning and/or stupid more times than I can conveniently count.  It’s also a miracle I didn’t kill anyone else.  I did permanently damage my health.

Now, as you may surmise being an alcoholic is not flattering or fun. It is however my diagnosis.  It is the truth. The truth does not care about my feelings, and without knowing the truth, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I'm stuck wherever I am.

As long as I could pretend that I didn’t have a problem, and other people could pretend that they believed me when I told them so, I could keep going.  And I did.  Now nobody else is responsible for my problems. That’s why they are MY problems. However, the people that were willing to pretend with me made it almost comfortable to continue having my problems even as I was dying from them.  THIS IS THE NATURE OF THE POLITICALLY CORRECT LIE.

What the hell does all this have to do with Illegal Immigration and the Judge? My lack of hurt feelings damn near killed me a lot. That's what.

She’s telling us She would rather pretend that no laws are being broken than allow an unpleasant but accurate statement to be used.  The thing is there is no actual way around the fact that these people are Foreign Nationals as in not citizens as in aliens, who came to this country illegally.  They are NOT citizens here, and the fact is that their presence here outside the law is the direct cause of much Social Injustice.  Now I understand that many think they have a simple solution to the problem. But these are the same people who practice their PC and pretend it’s not a problem.

Sotomayor, and others who argue that “Illegal Aliens” is too insulting a term to use perpetuate the problem.  Why do the work to become legal when there is all this pretending going on? But hell, I’ve played this game before!  As long as it’s a PC issue it’s about manners, not the law.
